How to start using the BIAB files.
The small band, swing band and mainly piano versions of the music on this site are produced by the program 'Band in a Box' (BIAB) (see PGMusic.com - suggest MegaPak version). You need a fairly recent version of that program to use these BIAB files.
With these files you can:
Alternatively, there is a free music scoring program MuseScore that will perform the basic function of printing the BIAB melody and Chord names.
With these files you can:
- print out the melody and chords
- create the style of music that suits your requirements
- change the music (tempo, key changes, verses, instruments etc) to meet your needs

The BIAB files on this site are the files are 'as is'. That is, they contain the setups, styles, harmonies etc that I use - all of which you can easily change to your own requirements. To make a standard file (which is a simple task), you will need to do the following:
